Each paid plan includes a monthly API budget. Stripe usage-based prices apply only after that included budget is passed.
Developers
API keys inherit the same plan limit, so external calls stay controlled.
Overage ledger
Included credits are used first. After that, each request is recorded once and invoiced when the account reaches its mid-cycle threshold or turns off on-demand overage.
Academic integrity
No account type can use Nodedistro AI to complete or obtain answers for a test, quiz, exam, or graded assessment.
Education access
Student and Teacher accounts cannot be purchased. Approved school districts assign and manage those accounts.
Token rates
Input usually runs $0.05-$15.00 per 1M tokens. Output usually runs $0.20-$90.00 per 1M tokens and costs 3-8x more.
Provider token rates
Rates per 1M tokens in USD. Input is cheaper; output is priced higher because generation uses more compute. Provider invoices remain the source of truth.
